Generally, in a single class of drop, the lower level(Flyff Penya) giants have lower rates than the higher levelled ones. The Carrierbomb, being the lowest Historic dropper, has the lowest rates on them. The Carrier is pretty good about dropping blues and Icycle Shields, so he's still worth hunting if you aree just gianting for money. Aria is right about the 2 levels above thing. In my experience, about 10-15% of your kills when you are 2 levels above a giant will give you absolutely nothing, not even Penya.

You can reduce this effect a bit with party drop skills, but it's still a big hit in your potential profits. When you are 3 levels(Flyff gold) above a giant, it jumps to 20-30% of your kills resulting in absolutely nothing. We also go by the 3 below to 1 above "rule". If you can survive, you can go at a larger gap below the giant's level, but it does noticeably impact blue drops. It may affect rares but we are not sure.

Talk to Colack in SM. Do that chain quest, we dunno how much it gives in the 50's but IIRC it gives at least one level(Flyff Penya) at 47. Also we know it is common knowledge but save up all the questies you can in that 50 range, Knightlers, Wheeshoes, especially Droils.

Also since you say you have only done the SM quest, invest time before you hit 60 to do the quest Luda in Flaris has for you. You will not get anything but Entanale and some penya, but when you get your second job, you can do another quest from Luda, which when paired with the Emeraldmantis quest gets you almost immediately to 62.

Train on Black Otems with a fellow killer in a contri, just keep looking, try Coral Island if possible, if you are not paying(Flyff gold) for two you might have a partner shortage, and you can always get plvled.

For those of you not familiar with the first event, the FlyFF GM team will be hosting a grueling, teeth gritting, but glorious PvP tournament to pit the best of the best in each specific class(Flyff Penya) against each other. This your chance to take up the mantle of "Champion of Madrigal" and to lay all others to waste. Fame, bragging rights, and the fear from those that you defeat and those that witness your mad skillz are just some of what await the victors.

Furthermore the following Bling Prizes will be handed out: The champions will be winning the never before released "Champion's Cloak." This cloak provides +8 to all stats, and +10% HP(Flyff gold). The second place winners will be receiving a choice of either a Dragon Cloak of the Initiate, or a Clean Ultimate Bloody or Legendary Weapon of their choice.
